The painting trip of a lifetime - Italy. My base in Florence was a hotel on the Arno between the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Art Gallery! This was a small market in the morning with locals and tourists crowded in the street, occasionally parted for scooters and taxis. This was the view as I stepped out. Glorious!
