Illumination

This oil painting was inspired by a local mountain peak, Lone Peak, at sunset. It was painted this year in early 2022. This painting marks an important mindset shift in my approach to painting, thanks to a few helpful mentors. It marks when I began to seek more after creating a picture that tells a story, rather than a realistic representation of the subject matters that I so love.
