This is a pastel painting I did from a photo I took at Brook Green Gardens in South Carolina. These Gardens are among the top 10 Botanical Gardens in the U.S., were just beautiful and this particular one, (there were 4or 5 different gardens with different themes), was part of the Sculpture Garden. I loved the gates and sculpture and different plantings in each one. It was hard to pick from the many photos I took, which ones to start painting.
