2022 is my first year of plein air painting, and The Meadow In The Middle is from my very first Quick Draw, held in September in Blue Ridge, GA. The event took place at a golf course in the mountains. Beautiful scenery, but so much of it was professionally designed. I chose to paint a native area untouched by professional landscapers, and it was in between two holes. Hence the “Meadow In The Middle” name. And, this was completed 100% plein air! It didn’t win an award, but it did get purchased in the Quick Draw silent auction!
