Pasture Pigs

Animals can never be depended on to stay put. NEVER
I started this painting at a local farm where I could see the pigs in a distant pasture. I though, in the next several hours, surely they would make their way closer to me, but no. When I decided to call it quits, after 4 hours, and I had everything packed, they wandered over. They didnt even stay that long. Just enough to tease me into unpacking.
No big deal. I had my trusty camera with me. I added them in the comfort of my studio. This prpbably worked out much better as I had more time to consider a thoughtful composition. Had they been there when I was actually painting, I would have gotten overly excited and made a mess.
