Riviera Maya

While on vacation, sitting under these palms, they seemed to be rattling and chatting with the breeze. Of course, I had to paint them! A sketch was done on location and the painting finished in the studio. I used a watercolor underpainting of Payne’s grey and Van Dyke brown.
