Blue Sandias

This painting was made here in Albuquerque, NM at a place along the Rio Grande that affords a great view of the river with the Sandia Mountains in the distance. I have been working here for the past three years exploring the landscape in a variety of media and formats. It is a never ending source of inspiration to observe and paint this continually evolving landscape. I enjoy watching the changing light throughout the day and the color changes of the different seasons.
