Lunch Break

This is a studio painting I did from a scene I captured while out for a Sunday drive on the backroads of Tennessee. The roads had cleared but the snow was hanging onto the fields and mountains and I was determined to get some good shots. I knew the minute the shutter clicked this was going to be a great shot, I could hardly wait to get to my studio and start slinging paint. It was done in about 5 hours and as of this moment is my favorite piece.
