Following the fox

I watched a fox play in the fresh snow the winter before last. It was such a magical moment, with the sun rising and warming colour transforming the landscape. He disappeared off as the sun came up, but not before I took lots of photos! He's already gone to bed in this painting, but it captured the memory perfectly for me.
