Waterlogged Field

While on residency in Ireland the weather was constant rain. many fields were flooded but I did not let this deter me from painting the landscape as I saw it. I guess this is a memory of my trip! The painting is 8 x 10" and easy to cover as the showers persisted. i used dry pigment (calcium carbonate) to help with keeping the paint dry.
