Sunlit Autumn Walk

Walking in Hampstead, London in England this Autumn, the sun was surprisingly glorious. I was captivated by its intensity and the pools of light that formed on a path of gravel and stones, which crunched satisfyingly underfoot. As a lone fellow walker receded into the distance, I knew I wanted to capture the painterly moment in oils and in an impressionistic way.
