I knew that I wanted to paint this scene as soon as I saw it. Then when I learned that the main boat in the picture belonged to my nephew I knew I had to paint for him as a Christmas gift. Funny, it was this same time last year almost to the day! Because of the rush I chose to paint this picture in acrylics.
