In the Dirt

I painted this from a 1932 photo of a small town (Gilman, WI) baseball game. It's special to me because it's very , very likely my dad and his two brothers were playing in that game. It's also the same field I played on in high school. The drama of the moment wasn't bad either. I simplified the colors to add to the drama and age.
