Cape Charles is a picturesque quintessential coastal town on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. It has a wonderfully picturesque marina area which I have tried to depict in my rendering. The last time I was there it was right near sunset and these beautiful orange-gold hues were saturating the marina area so much so that you could almost feel it. I knew at that moment I would have to paint it. Besides, they’re known for having a wonderful Plein-Air event!
