Autumn on the Salt River, Apache Junction Arizons

Not many of the native trees in Arizona turn the vivid oranges and reds of the northeast. But with the electrifying sunshine, they glow in a variety of golds, yellows and whites for a short period. And the sun has to be late afternoon for decent reflections and various colors. This was a cold wax and oil medium painted with a common kitchen bowl scraper.
