October Gold

The Autumn boasts a richness of bold displays of deciduous forests. One of my favorite
painting subjects is the forest layered with colors, values and textures. My painting began
on a rainy, damp October afternoon en plein air but thankfully, the sun brought warmth and a golden light to encourage the stay.
