Impact

“Impact” is the final work of my water series. The series began with streams, rivers, ponds and finally the mighty ocean. The painting depicts the moment the wave crashes into the rocks near the shoreline off of Cape Cod. A contrasting palette from sky to water and complementary color scheme also enhance the title.
A variety of tool were used to create textural responses from cardboard to paper towels.
