Cowboy Ron

Graphite. This is my dad, who always wore a cowboy hat and was an avid outdoorsman. He asked me why I wanted to draw him as he was all wrinkled and old. I told him because your face tells a story and I know that story. He helped my mom raise 6 daughters and 1 son. His face also showed how much he missed my mom who had passed away 12 years before. It was a labor of love creating this drawing as my dad unexpectedly passed away before I did this drawing.
