Grandpa's Glasses

I took a solo trip to my grandparents Kennedy Meadows cabin and painted this still life while sitting by the wood stove fire. It is an antique pair of cowboy boots, my grandpa Donny's reading glasses and a bird's nest. My grandmother is wonderful at setting up vignettes. This arrangement was set up in front of the window just asking to be painted.
