Grey Day on the Frio

Oil on board. Spent several days camping at Garner State Park, TX. Weather was warm but unstable and rain in the forecast. Decided to set up and paint anyway because it was beautiful and calm. Needed to be hasty thinking I would at least have a study for the studio. Almost immediately, light rain began to fall, so I forged on hoping the shower would pass, but it didn't so I packed up after about 45 min on site. Later decided it was complete because I liked the spontaneous impression which actually captured the feeling I had at the time.
