Pictured Rocks, Lake Superior

Oil on canvas. Took boat trip along the shoreline on an overcast day which seemed to intensify the dramatic contrasts in color. Took a hundred photos, inspired to paint a hundred paintings. Maybe I will someday. This was the first one I chose to capture on canvas. I like it and can't wait to get to others.
